During natural disasters or brutal conflict women and children are often the hardest hit.  Basic support services they rely on get wiped out leaving mothers and their children at their most vulnerable.  Being a mum is hard enough it's unimaginable being one in such a terrible situation, knowing that you and your babies are in constant danger.  

 

UNICEF estimated in 2015 that 16 million babies are born into conflict every year and out of the 38 million global refugees 28 million are women and children.  Lemonade Mamas only partners with organisations that have a proven track record of supporting mums and children on the ground, we are committed to making sure that the support we give gets to the mothers that need it most.
